Mats are acid-free paper borders used in framing to enhance the image being framed and to lift the glass off the image for preservation purposes. There can be up to 3 layers of mats per picture framed. The mat width depends on tastes and the best aesthetics for each framed image.
Our selection of frames are high quality, durable solid wood and metal frames. We won't use plastic or MDF frames in our facility.
